Wow! Kamala was fantastic in pursuing Trump tonight. I never new her prior to tonight and I thought she was impressive. I'm Canadian and talk can't about the strengths of politics in our country at the moment but I'm hopeful that America sees what I saw tonight in Kamala as hope for America. I have ...

Just catching up the Nic's adventures. Sad to hear about MC and we wish her a speedy recovery. Some great wines shared with good friends, a lobster or three along with whoopee pies. Thanks for taking the time to share your notes on this recent comparative tasting. I'm not drinking much these days but appreciated your review. Jim, Nice walk down memory lane but just a small sampling. My heart says I'd love to have a go at France 25 but my brain says it's doubtful. We'll see how things unfold over the next months. Spain I must say has been rejuvenating! Feeling much better bur a ways to go yet. Regardless I can still dream.

Nic, I never had any idea that Quebec was known for their crab or sea scallops. Certainly in Ottawa on Quebec's western border we are a long way from Quebec's eastern coast where these must come from. I'll agree with Jay that Maryland's blue crabs are pretty good but Dungeness and king crab are prob...

I'm in the boat that I can find love for many in each one of the appellations. Wow Nic that sounds overall like a disappointing review of several right bankers from various vintages. Sounds like a winner for that price. If it resembles Calon Segur it could be my kinda wine as well but trying to taper off this stuff unfortunately. Agree fully the 2021 WTSRN was a step above most at this tasting making it a bargain by comparison to most. It was fun chatting with the winemaker whom Jim and I confused with the owner that served us in 2015 at the Chateau when we were on tour who we thought was the winemaker and not the owner. Thi...

Guys, As you remember those three were side by each at the tasting and I went with the dArmailhac first and heard the same spiel that Nic did. Joel, Agree there are better qpr's in Bordeaux than Sassacaia but I must say I've loved it every time I've had it going through cases of the 97-2000 with friends over the years. Great notes and wonderful way to lead into the holidays.
