Re: Our thoughts with John Dawson, aka "PappaDoc".

Jim,

Can't thank you enough for putting the link on BWE. Then again we know how much BWE folk love and support
each other!

Hopefully I'll be taking Zytiga, a new FDA approved drug very soon. If that comes to be, I'd like to do a dinner at Fabios again.

Jadot does a top notch job with Beaune wines and the 05s are massive. Beaune wines should be "fleshy" and thiers are stuffed. They were some of the best buys in 05 red Burgs with prices from $30-$45. Please hold on to your 05s for at least 3 to five more years. The 05 Vintage is not a true...

Jacques, It was 1990 Kerpen-Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese*** (Three Star). In the best form for me as the sweetness is almost gone. It's all about richness and minerality now. I think you've had too many young Rieslings, time I opened more with age for you. Tom, The 95s were great. I've been loving the...

Jacques opened a 1990 Haut Bailly, it was served with two other great 90s ,not certain but they may have been Lynch Bages and Robs STUNNING 90 Beausejour. At that moment the most complete/ready wine of the three was the Haut Bailly. It just had everything in phase, perfect equilibrium, a complete wi...

Zachys had it on sale this past week for $15 a bottle. I liked it at a Staff tasting, then again I've liked evry wine I've had from Palacio. I do think the top wines are over priced though. I also loved the Les Terrasses, bought the 04 and 05 for $25 each about a year and a half ago.

Good job Nico!

The 96 Henriot is "Old School" with big toasty Bisquets, honey and hazelnut finish. Similar to the way Krug used to be, or Bollingers style.
