Def. not an atypical 2009...didn't seem ripe at all, in fact maybe a tad underripe....then I popped one a few years after and it was delish, but not the elegant demure style, but rather masculine.

I can’t tolerate some of the modern Cal Cabs and CdPs at 16+ but that may be due to other factors such as over extraction. Yet I like ...

I don't have to worry because there are enough classic 80-90's 2000/1 bordeaux to keep me happy until the day I die, plus Chinon and lovely Bojo cru for daily drinkers...sprinkle in some burgs and voila....a successful game plan
