When you drink this you know what is so NOT premoxed. This is perfectly aged white Burgundy. The color is a brilliant yellow gold. I never knew the Montelana Chardonnay had changed color etc.
I thought that was very interesting.

One thing that always comes thru on the 1986's is the sheer power.
I'm more optimistic than Tom.
I thought 1986 LLC was approachable a few years ago when we firts met.

Sure! There's a type of botrytized Sémillon grape flavor that only comes from that terroir.

A few - very few - of the wines seemed to have an international style, or resemble anything other than Sauternes.
