Re: President Trump

To your other points, Scott... Health is a legitimate issue. I just don't think the coverage is close to offering a realistic view of what's really happening or what's relevant. And perception is everything. I think taxes are legitimate as well. I'd like to know where the candidates made their money...

Re: President Trump

I think the statistical comment is based on HRC's honesty/lying ratio being on par or better than most politicians while Trump is 99.44% lies. Yes fainting does look bad and the way the media is playing it no doubt it will hurt in the polls. If it had happened to Trump, or any other man, the story w...

Back in the '80s Zachys' big selling point was "We HAVE the wine! You'll see it advertised elsewhere for less but they wont have it in stock." Guess that's changed. Thier Bdx prices are high but I'm sure they sell plenty. They no doubt have a clientele that is more affluent/less price sens...

Re: President Trump

Interesting take on the Obama/Clinton primary race. I do agree that Obama ran circles around Clinton. I thought the Obama team was just as dirty, but much more skilled at having surrogates slip in the knives without the candidate having to look dirty.

You're right, Jacques, but the hit rate for the emails is so low I don't bother reading them. On the rare occasions they do have a good sale I can now rely on the "deals" threads here and elsewhere to alert me.

Took you long enough...

I have some very fond memories of shopping with my father at Zachy's in the 1980s. We "took a drive to Scarsdale" and were like kids in a candy store. But it's been years since I've even opened one of their emails.

What you say makes some sense, but I think there is a broader range of awareness among the homeless. They are not all as mentally challenged as you suggest. Some are, and maybe that segment that ends up needing a criminal defense attorney is typically that out of it. But there are those who are just...

I must lack the requisite skepticism to be a simple country lawyer. It's probably a big lie spread by the Post, no doubt originating with Hillary Clinton. We need a special prosecutor. I think you may be just the man for the job!

I've done this with plastic wrap, and have seen it turn a DNPIM wine into an under-fruited mediocre wine after a few minutes of swishing a bunched-up wad of wrap in the glass. I think it binds enough of the TCA to make the wine more or less drinkable but does not come close to restoring it to a norm...
