all of you are wrong...2009 is the VOC. Kidding aside, the 2000 Baron is really good but the 95 Andy brought was no slouch either.

Re: TN: 2007 Château de Saint-Cosme Côtes du Rhône Les Deux Albion

I've loved everything I've tried from St Cosme in '07. Then again, I've loved about 90% of all southern Rhones I've tried from '07. This was no exception. 2007 Château de Saint-Cosme Côtes du Rhône Les Deux Albion - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône (9/17/2009) Purple to rim, nose a lit...

Potential visit from the BD to Washington DC area

Jim feels the DC chapter needs an inspection so we're looking at early December for a gathering. Would any locals (and and anybody else) be available for a dinner(s)?

Porterhouse or ribeye for us. We like tenderloin but it generally needs a sauce or a compote (sp). I'm bringing as one of my 6 pack a GC white burg JScott sent me together with the 96DB for our virtual tasting (we ought to do this again). This was extremely generous of JScott-another example of the ...

Boston restaurant help needed

Mrs V is planning a business dinner in September for around 25 folks who will be staying at the Jury's back bay hotel at stuart and barkely streets. The venue must be within walking distance. Three places have been recommended: Davios, Mustard, and Grill 23. Which has the best food and a decent list...

mr vino sees no reason to spend a $100+ more than Motel6 for a room where he will basically sleep (recover) for 8 hours. Besides it's closer to the wine cellar of our benevolent, generous, all sharing of his wine cellar dictator. Motel6 for the vinos!
