Re: So what have you bought lately?

JimHow I have not heard anything as to why. I am thinking about sending a message to Concord to highlight the deficiencies of the new format. I went to Salem today for those bottles but may still stop by Hooksett if I happen to be up that way. I have to go up that way next Sunday to take a tour of ...

Re: So what have you bought lately?

After reading Jim's comments about the 2015 Corbin I was prepared to make the pilgrimage to NH and buy at least 6 bottles and wipe out another store of their remaining 11 2016. Oh well, after reading further how great both the 18' and 19' are expected to be i took a breath and realized i need to pra...

Had a 2006 Duhart Milon tonight and it was enjoyable and displayed the character of the vintage. Slightly austere but not green. The tannins are still outweighing the fruit which scares me a little at this point.

You scoop up those Salem bottles, Gerry, I'll buy out the rest of the Hampton north and south bottles. This is really, really great right bank Bordeaux at $39 per bottle, a great price. Damn, between the two of us we would have close to 5 cases, lol. My cellar is bursting at the seams already and I...

I'm definately heading back up there tomorrow and may head to Salem to grab the 16' Corbin they have. I have the 14' HB but may grab Margaux. +700/btl is out of my league except for a 89' HB I bought for my anniversary year. Happy hunting!

The 2014 Ch Margaux at $339 looks like a great deal for at least a bottle or two. Lowest price on WS is $100 higher at $439. NH still has a fair amount of 14' Haut Brion at $320.
