On an Oregon note, Walter Scott has suspended their wine club starting in 2022 and lasting until March of 2023. No wine to sell because of fire taint.

I've enjoyed the 2016 and bought a few cases, which is rare now. I believe Lafon, Siran, Cantemerle, Malartic and Lalagune are well made with excellent balance. What I find particularly pleasing is they are very accessible now but will age nicely.

I am not as pessimistic as you Jim. I bought this when it came out and found it to be a pleasing wine. My last bottle, about six months ago, was completely shutdown so I think (hope) it will come around with a few more years in the cellar.

2015 Grand Mayne $42.00. An impulse buy at Costco. Yes it's a Rolland influenced wine but I have friends who like full bodied wines.
