Bernie vs. The Donald, I may stay home on Election Day. In a couple of years, I might even be looking to retire outside of the US. I like some of what Sanders says, but he's a financial disaster waiting to happen. Once in office it's unlikely he'd be able to take all our money, so I might be able to...

Thanks for that link Jim, fascinating to see in its entirety.

Look how far we've fallen, with Rubio and Trump debating the size of Trump's penis. And it's not just the Republicans. Even Hillary weighed in:

So the Bordelais (some? many?) are not entirely satisfied with their pricing paradigm: up a lot in great years, down a little in poor years. They would like to adopt the California model: up a lot in great years, no change in poor years.

Trump may be genuine, which can resonate with voters. A lot of fed-up voters cotton to his blow-up-the-system statements. But he is a know-it-all blowhard bully shoot-from-the-hip jingoistic nationalistic narcissist. Any one of which makes him a poor candidate for the job.

I've heard completely unsubstantiated rumblings from the blogosphere.

Whether Bernie's (or anyone's) brain can trump their ego after months of primary campaigning is an open question. I hope so.

It may be a personal tolerance thing (the lack of dill comments on CT). I was served a young mid-1990s Caymus Special Select blind once, and all I could think of was dill pickles. Everyone else loved it. No doubt La Fleur de Bouard sees some serious oak.

Arv, what you say makes sense as well. Ultimately I think Fox ends up in jail, the wine in the warehouse gets auctioned, the trustee, attorneys and others working for the trustee get whatever money is left, and the customers get only what their credit card companies are willing to refund them, but n...

I'm in synch with many here with respect to Ridge. Geyserville and Monte Bello are the two I plan to age. The Monte Bello is not overpriced to my palate/wallet if purchased as a future. The 2013 was $98 in the spring of 2014, and will arrive this spring. The rest of my California purchases scratch a...

What would the alternative to filing for bankruptcy have been? Just keep digging a bigger and deeper hole until, what? Lights off, repossession of the property for non-payment? Eventual criminal charges? Can creditors force a company into involuntary bankruptcy? Keep in mind you're talking to a non-...

PC never ever notified me that a pre-arrival wine was in and ready to ship. They often failed to update my online account as well. I had to start calling every few months. One filing mentioned $19 million in sales last year. If you are 40% under water for 8 years or so, that could add up to $63 million dollars. Still doesn't tell us where the money went. Drugs? House was probably mortgaged up the wazoo. Think I read that at some point on WB.

Fox named all the PC creditors in his bankruptcy filing. Presumably for protection against claims he anticipates being filed against him personally. He may have bigger problems when the FBI is done with him.
