Re: Hilary New Hit Song

The swift-boaters are just getting started. Just think of all the student loans that could be paid off or lead water pipes that could be replaced with the tens, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars spent on trying to find/manufacture evidence of a crime committed by HRC. Why haven't they found anyt...

I never would have believed Trump would get this far. Shows how much I know. I do think the Republicans will prevent him from gaining the nomination and extending his hijacking of the party. But I'm far from certain.

On the Dem side, Bernie's fantasy world will soon start to crumble.

I like that anecdote Arv!

The opposite of "modern" makes sense. Rustic conjures images of rough tannins and less-clean cellars, maybe Brett, but I suppose different people use the term differently.

Any hint of TCA in the 2010 GPL? I have a couple in the cellar, so I'm hoping Marc's guess of shut down hard is correct, but Jim's comments have me concerned. I won't touch them for at least 8 years, and keep my fingers crossed.

Kyle of The Wine Exchange had this to say about 2015: It’s our last day in France, but the memories of 2015 Bordeaux are still clearly etched in my mind. We know many of you are curious as to what we thought of the wines. So, from my (tiny) hotel room in Paris I thought it prudent to jot down a few ...

Hard to beat 1989 Lynch or 1986 Talbot... I wasn't there (really missed you guys!), but my favorite story of the convention was the yuuuuge score on 2002s at MacArthurs. Interesting article on the changing times in Bordeaux. Not much mention of prices, Alex. Are these high-profile lists sporting prices to match or are there bargains to be had? Is corkage taboo? At this stage of my life, with a cellar full of well-aged wines, restaurant lists have become exercises in...

I figure by my 90s my palate will be so shot I'll need young high-octane California cabs and zins to taste anything. Aged Bordeaux would be lost on me. That is if I make it to 90 and still remember if the wine goes in my mouth or in my ear. Jim you can really enjoy young Bordeaux more than me so it ...

Also, for the last ten+ years I have stored most of my young Bdx at closer to 66F than 55F. Have you ever compared the same wine stored long term at ~55 vs. ~65, Bill? I've done (al...
