I think the empty set and zero belong in the realm of discoveries, not inventions.
Even in the absence of other evidence, zero is implied by the existence of one and negative one, both discoveries imo.

Re: A couple of Margaux appellation beauties.

I saw a note for this from a new Cellartracker friend who actually lives less than 10 miles from me. So I decided to pop my second one. 2016 Château Siran - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux (3/29/2022) PnP. Drank over two evenings. This reminded me of a bottle of 2014 Leoville Barton opened several ...

If you don't want to drink one alone, ... I'll save one to drink with you, Chris, but it'll have to be at least a couple blanquitos from now! I was thinking more along the lines of one more single bottle bought before the sale ends, so you don't have to ruin one of your investment grade owcs. :mrgr...

You know what did it for me, was the six bottle cases. I really have no qualms about at the very least breaking even, especially since I’ve got them in these nice compact pristine six bottle cases. I just kind of wish I had one loose bottle out there, Ike I originally planned, for when you came and...

7 of us gathered at my brother Charley's house in Poland to celebrate my dad's 93rd. The drive up from CT for Mary and me was quite eventful, and may have left Mary mildly traumatized. I would definitely consider it old school based on that one experience, but considering the context of sharing a table with 2014 Macdonald and Maybach, it would be.
