I would say 1982 Talbot but I've only had it once. Therefore I'll go with 1986 Rausan-Segla. Each time I've had it, I thought it was better than the previous bottle.

Kari Lake not only defeated, but tossed into the dustbin of history. However I've gotta say, Liz Cheney is da Man! (even according to Josh Hawley apparently) She would make a great Speaker of the House under the current circumstances. All it would take is all the democrats and a few republicans to v...

I found some for $100 within half an hour driving time. I'll see if I can secure a couple bottles before the word spreads. Yesterday I made my first trip to Table & Vine in W. Springfield and purchased 3x 2016 GPL @ $90 ea, plus 1x '18 Comtesse Reserve @ $45 and 2x '18 Lanessan @ $18 in order t...

It has the highest abv of any L-T I've seen, at 14%.
My first bottle showed some character that I didn't notice in the next few bottles. I'm hopeful that it will reappear as the wine matures.

I thought I bought 6 bottles of 2016 Ch. Siran online at a local retailer, but when I went to pick them up, it was the S de Siran.
At $40 each I was happy to buy more '16 Siran, but I'm not paying that for their second wine.

I've never eaten nettles or drank nettle tea, but I have been in contact with them and they do indeed sting as described above.

Very impressive lineup. I've had one of those wines anyway - 1982 Ch. Margaux.
My list is short but the Talbot I opened last March was the best '82 Bordeaux I've had.

One thing I like about Connecticut - it's easy to be a progressive, even though I'm surrounded by maga republicans in this little rural suburb. The Democrat candidate in our state House district has lost for 30 years running. However Dems hold a significant majority statewide, and there are only 13 ...

This morning, things don't look any worse, and possibly a lot better than most expected. Six of seven Trump endorsed election denying gubernatorial candidates lost overnight, with the seventh (Kari Lake) down nearly two percent to her opponent after 2/3 of the vote counted. Georgia will probably go ...

I was up at 4:30 this morning, watching the lunar eclipse. My yard doesn't have great views to the west but the dim red moon was fully visible through bare trees. My best views were ahead of the full eclipse, while there was still a glow on the southeast side of the moon. After that I loaded Mary's ...

Popped and poured. Nice perfume!

I don't think a 1% fluctuation in the djia indicates much about the voting.

A friend's wife is their town's republican registrar of voters. She says turnout is heavy.
