TN: 2002 Siduri Rosella's Vyd Pinot Noir
2002 Siduri Rosella's Vyd Pinot Noir: Medium-dark red. Ripe, bright strawberry and cherry on the nose with a bit of alcoholic heat. Medium body, ripe fruit on palate, good balance but alcohol pokes through a bit. Medium finish smooths out some, very good, drink up.

Number of posts per page
It looks like the software starts a new page after 10 posts. Can that be increased to 30-40 posts per page? Less clicking from page to page for multi-post threads that way. And I don't think it will slow down the page loads significantly.

That's what happens when you get over 50, Jim...
You'll get used to it.

Re: Auto-link to CellarTracker
WLDG uses similar software and has a security issue with auto-posts from CT, but that may be something that WLDS set up rather than something inherent in the BB software.
I've e-mailed Eric - let's see what he says.

Re: Editing/deleting posts
Cool. So regular user "Phil" no longer has the "delete" button now that there are following replies. Do you still see the "edit" button as a regular user? And if you click on the edit button, does the window that comes up still give an option to delete the post rather t...

Re: Editing/deleting posts
I like the "Last edited" notation. It doesn't kick in right away, so it allows you to add content or correct typos or errors or tone down a rant if you hit "send" too soon. But it also notifies the group that you changed something if you do so later down the road after a, perhaps...

Re: Editing/deleting posts
I see Phil, but I thnk my question still stands. I think regular users can delete their own posts. Notice that your post as "Phil" in the screenshot (what the regular user "Phil" sees) still has the edit and delete buttons active for "Phil's" post. So if regular user &q...

Editing/deleting posts
It's great that you can edit posts on this forum. Much better than the MSN site. Is it possible for the board to append a note when a post is edited - say if it is edited more than 5 minutes after the original post? This might reduce confusion in a back/forth conversation if someone goes back to cor...

Re: Posting photos
Good, I think it is a wise choice to limit the size of attached files. Is that true for other files as well or just pics?

BWE DC '09 Dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak
BWE DC '09 Dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak Saturday, April 4, 2009 It's time to start planning for the BWE '09 Saturday dinner main event. We will be returning to Charlie Palmer Steak . We had a great time there in 2007. We again have the Alcove - a private space that was ideal for a group of our si...

Re: Posting photos
Interesting - you can scroll the picture with the slide bars or click on the picture without messing up the formatting of the rest of the thread.

Re: Posting photos
Here's a really big pic that I haven't downsized. Let's see what this does to the formatting of the thread:
Re: I'm in!
And away we go! Looks good!
Is there an option for having a quick-post box appear at the bottom of each thread, so you can just start typing and hit "submit" without clicking on the "Post Reply" button?

Re: Posting photos
We might want to put limits on the size of the files that can be posted online. Photos that are too big are hard to view - too much scrolling. And might large files slow down the page loads?
