JIm,
I wasn't offended at all. The second version is just fine!
Stefan,
Book published in 1998. Would take me at least 2-4 years to write a new one. I am 77 so it's too late. No sponsor. My website contains many profiles of properties in Pomerol with recent updates.

Jim,
It's not nice imho to write Parker is "dead". You may get sued for this. Why don't you write "Parkerised wine style is dead" instead??

Be aware of catastrophic situation with strikes in London and especially in health sector. Just saw in Danish TV that it took 1.5 hour to get ambulance to an old man who suffered heart attack. Trains, buses and airports are on strike now. Maybe the situation will get better in March. But it is a mis...

Re: Bordeaux 2019 In Bottle Tasting at FarrVintners
This Southfold tasting mirrors pretty much my impressions from tasting over 200 2019s from November 2021 to March 2022. Some properties aren't mentioned in the English tasting, like La Lagune, Bourgneuf, Beausejour Duffau and Phelan Segur. I think 2016 is equal to 2019. Be prepared for 2020 vintage....

Several 2020 Bordeaux tasted recently in Copenhagen
Happy New Year with wishes of Ukrainian War ending soon! Some weeks ago I tasted several wines from 2020 vintage, bottled app. six months ago, sent to me to Copenhagen. 2020 is for sure a great vintage, marking the third one in row after 2018 and 2019. Wines have the elegance and finesse of 2019 and...

DavidG, Thanks. Never heard of lesser lots of Gilette going into Les Justices. I believe they are sold for generic Sauternes wine or distillation. Steven Brooks must have some insider knowledge. For my 70 years birthday party, I had 1986 Yquem against 1986 Gilette. An intense fight and Yquem edged i...

Ausone 1982 was made by Pascal Delbeck and is probably the best Ausone he has ever made. Ian, I agree with your tasting notes. I haven't yet tasted Cheval Blanc, La Mission, and Haut Brion in vintage 1982. I tasted L.Bages 1982 and Latour 1982 in October last year, beautiful bottles with Lynch Bages...

The first three wines tasted were wines from Magali and Thibaud Decoster (not the same family who owns Fleur Cardinale and Croix Cardinale). All from St. Emilion. For BWE.jpg Beaujolais is still a great wine area to follow. :D Friday last week, I compared Coudert's 2020 Fleurie Clos de La Roilette "Cuvée Tardive" to Yann Bertrand's 2020 Fleurie "Coup d'Foille". A traditional Fleurie, the 2020 Fleurie Clos de La Roilette "Cuvée Tardiv...

Musigny 151,
You forgot Cheval Blanc 1947.
Jeff,
Let's see how the wines are after the malo is finished.
I am a bit skeptical when some winemakers compare 2022 to 2011. The latter vintage isn't the one I value highly.

Ambrose, Yes, it's silly question imho. To my knowledge reverse osmosis is normally used to gain more alcohol by removing water, not the other way round :?: . Ian, I fully agree with Alex. I think you are hiding behind Tom C's back, who is Scottish. Can we have 100% your own opinion of Jane's book? I wonder why the British are so fond of bashing their fellow citizens. Inside Bordeaux was never meant as buying guide, and for someone to criticize the book's...

The standard of train in France are quite high.
Even TER is nice.
Both times I went to Sebastian were at 1. class and upper deck.
This with no cleaning etc is common issue with Flix.

There are different criteria for Bordeaux and Burgundy concerning the incorporation of other vineyards.
They are allowed in Bordeaux to include vineyards of the same Cru status.
I think there's a significant quality difference between some GCCs.
