Marcs and I tended to agree on the 50 Gazin, although I thought it was the most intellectually interesting wines I've had in a while. The nose was amazing with all kinds of crazy stuff like yellow curry, sandalwood, potpourri. It was sweet and thick, but a bit jumpy.

Nalan and I are staying with Thomas+Johanna as they live in Georgetown, so no hotel for us this year. When I lived in DC for 5 years in the mid-90s' I lived in the Dupont Circle area.
