Re: 2015 Ch La Conseillante buy?

Thanks guys for your input, I think it's worth a couple of bottles but not worth going overboard at this stage since typically I do not love Rolland's style

2015 Ch La Conseillante buy?

I just left a NH state store and stumbled onto a promo where you spend $150 and get an instant $25 off. They are closing out 2015 La Conseillante for $150. I know 2016 is THE vintage to have but for $125 how good a deal is 2015?

I had a 75' not too long ago that was very good but tye tannins were starting to take over. I still have a bottle left that will probably opened within the next year.

I bought a fair amount of 15' and a half bottle I tried showed a lot of promise.

Sorry for the late response, from what Ive seen, NH still has 168. Ive come to really love Krug over the last few years and have salted away a few bottles each of editions 164, 166 and 168 along with a lone bottle of vintage 2002. What a great lineup and the detailed notes are a bonus! As time goes by I keep coming back to the 89' Pichon Lalande as one of my all-time favorite and most consistent wines. Almost to the point I'd pay whatever the current MV is since I'm down to my last 2 bottles.

Weekend wines were quite a surprise. For both wines I was expecting harsh tannin and austerity and while the 1st wine started out as expected it evolved over a day to a swan.
