His full time employment is writing for the Wine Advocate. What word he happened to use is probably driven by conventional language more than considered thought.

I've had serious, public run-ins with Parker, Miller & in the past, Rovani, but I have never been kicked off or suspended.

I'm a huge fan of the 2004 Pontet Canet (solid case of 375s). I haven't opened a 2001 Pontet Canet since release. Now I may have to.

That's one of the great conflicts. Bordeaux mixture is allowed because it's all natural ingredients. Of course too much copper is itself toxic, but let's not worry about that, we have dogma to preach.
