had the '06 last yr....I didn't think it was that great...lacked that pauillac goodness and something about the oak on the finish seemed cheap or phoney...drank two seperate bottles that night....I have 3 in the cellar (purchased w/o tasting) because it is my son Cage's birth yr.

1989 Lynch, 2008 Haut Brion and 2012 Margaux. The first for obvious reasons, but the latter two for sentimental reasons as they are my kids' birthyears and are slated to be gifts for them. I know the question asking for one bottle. But I took the liberty of listing 3 as all they are in one 3-bottle...

just had this a week ago ....this is a structured style built along the old world/new world style...didn't seem as heavily oaked as some of the '05 meyney...not exactly fully open for business to achieve complete enjoyment. ..still enjoyable nonetheless This feels like a wine that could age a long t...

This really was a quality little wine....to be fair, it will never be the most complex wine, but the charm was completely overwhelming... sad that I can only get this here in Dallas since they do not ship.

I love the '03 now

my favorite is 1998...tasted it 8years ago...i didn't score it as high then because I was into more new world wines...it was a fantastic treat, my notes say red fruited with tapenade and coffee notes.

I purchased 3 bottle of 2002 alter ego....a beautiful wine early on....I popped them a couple weeks back and unfortunately they showed very poorly ....I had to pour 1 down the sink. The bottles looked pristine, but were stored at around 70 degrees since release...apparently not the right formula for...

Comtesse for me is a better 2nd....2004 comtesse was an absolute delight, pauillac heaven....the last dame I tasted was 2010 and I found it good but fairly boring.
Notes on 2012 comtesse look fairly solid

Popped 2012 D'armailhac last night....I was hesitant to open it, but glad I did...very enjoyable young bordeaux with plenty of those bordeaux characteristics that we love...semi sweet, cigar, graphite, leather....will grab another
