The latest stash, including "The Final First Growth," purchased with gift card and generating two more gift cards.
It' like they are paying us to buy this stuff!

2002 Lafite not worth $100?
Geez I have three in my collection, sounds like I should drink up?
2002 left bank has brought me much pleasure.
A Leoville Barton I had recently, though, was ready for the pasture.

What’s really scary is I’m starting to see some 2015s on sale.
This 2014 sale was great!
Now, the big question... 2014 Mouton at $270?
Tempting.

Re: The end of an era Part 1.

A FINAL 2014 purchase at some crazy prices when you factor in the discounts and gift cards, I'm talking like Brane and d'Issan for $35ish, Haut Bailly for $49, Rauzan comes in at about $45, La Mission for like $160, etc. 3 bottles of 2014 Haut Bages Liberal 3 bottles of 2014 Malescot St. Exupery 5 b...

Re: The end of an era Part 1.

This really does feel like going out with a bang, I think I'll buy a single bottle each of 2014 Mouton and Haut Brion in the $270 range, I have like $900 in gift cards right now. I'm going to monitor the inventory of those 2016s, i predict we'll be able to buy most of them when they are discounted 1...

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a 2014 Mouton, it'll be about $270 with gift cards. What is the deal with th...

I bought a case of Baron a month ago, all at discounted prices. Siri directed me home through Manchester, much easier than...

2005 Barde Haut: Should never have been blanquitoed.

I have said before that Barde Haut should be consumed in its infancy. it just doesn't get better with age. A few years ago I remarked about the beautiful chocolate sexiness of this 2005. Alas, it has just not gotten better. It is still nice, but not better. The 2005 Barde Haut confirms what I have b...
