Re: I Received the wrong wine in a shipment

Alex, The mishandling merchant (I think chateau on line) was later bought by 1855 who later on went bankrupt. I must say I was relieved that I got something (moreover, the wine was good and, indeed, 2004 prices were low enough to make a logistics exchange more expensive and bothersome than telling m...

Re: Do we need to stock on Bordeaux now...

Great news! Put 100% duties on the stuff and I'll go to France to drink it as prices will plumet (a large part is exported).
Better still would be to apply 200% on Burgundy...sick of price increases!

There seems to be a widely held view on your side of the pond that Hillary is corrupt. Yet, on our side of the pond, apart from Donald's apparently unsubstantiated claims (she is the most corrupt ever... but no substance and, so far, no indictment we are aware of), we have had little evidence and/or...

Great news...most probably for my children bar maybe a few early maturing vintages (?) though.
It is nice to see Chateaux trying to improve and I wish them success.
By the way, I have 6 Montrose 2003 and read that it was enjoyed. When would you advise starting opening one?

In 2005, I purchased a case of Leo Poyferre 2004 and received a case of Pichon Baron 2004 in 2006. Called them and they asked me to keep it as, anyway they had no more Leo P left... The Pichon is good I don't know how the Leo P is but OK, these things happen...
