I did alright today, I convinced the NH liquor store to give me a 15% discount on 24 bottles.
The prices ended up being quite good:

2014 Clerc Milon, 12 bottles in owc @ $52.25 each.
2014 Pichon Lalande, 10 bottles @ $99.44 each.
2014 Ducru Beaucaillou, 2 bottles @ $116.99 each.

What a treat, to try the 2000 Baron and Lalande side by side, so close geographically and yet, at least in 2000, so different.

Yes it was awfully sweet. I’m not really sure how this matches up to other Beaucastels that are recently released. It's weird, it almost seems that the bottles I've had in the past five years have been more closed than those of the previous 15 years.
But both the mag and the smaller bottles in Colorado opened up beautifully by the end of the evening.

I have no problem using “Bordeauxs.”
“Bordeaux’s” of course would be possessive.
“Bordeaux” as a plural is acceptable as well, like lobster and deer.
But this is not like chateau/chateaux. It would not be “chateauxs.”
