Ok, my father spied my sole bottle of 82 Montrose and how can I say no. 2000 La Lagune as backup. The above bottles may be part of the NYE festivities. Merry Christmas all!

Re: The 2021-2022 Wine Buying Freeze Thread
Actually, OrlandoBobby, I encourage buying freezes for auctions. Don't trust them. Beware of bad provenance. Beware of fake bottles. Spend all available funds on futures. They are much safer. And under no circumstances bid on La Lagune. Speaking of La Lagune, I just snagged a few of the 2016. I kno...

Ever since our move with mrs vino seeing how much wine I had in the crawl space, there has been almost no red wine purchased...well, maybe a case. The good news is now I can easily access all my wine. Or is that bad news?

Prosecutor did a lousy job and the judge was known to favor defendants so the verdict was no surprise. I wonder where this kid goes from here?

The 95 dinner was an exceptional evening of wine and camaraderie. Ian's tasting group has an impressive grasp of Bordeaux so an educational evening for mr vino in the best way.

Marcus was kind enough to let me take home a half bottle of the 2001 Baron which drinks well on day two. We're back sitting on our porch on a truly lovely evening here in Rehoboth. I admit we had some trepidations about attending the event. But I am confident that our group is too smart to let covid...

My guests and I are bringing a 6L of a well regarded Bordeaux from 1996 for Saturday. Do we need champagne as well for Saturday? As for Friday, maybe Italian maybe a Rhone-also can bring champagne as well but I know we have the champagne reception at 4.
