Thanks, it's ok, I like the first chapter, the rest needs work.
I've got a lot written, a lot will be added, a lot will be subtracted, a lot will be amended.
I do like how the plot that I've put together.
it just takes a lot of time.
It took me a year just to edit Lisbon Street.

Aww thanks you guys are the best. You’ll recall when we last saw Billy Cole he was in his early 40s and in his prime during the year of the WTC attacks. Now it’s 15ish years later, he’s in his mid fifties, his body starting to succumb to the ravages brought on by the life of a criminal defense lawye...

The first three chapters to "THE GHOSTS OF THE SEVEN MULLAHS," a sequel to "LISBON STREET." The title is a working title, the chapters are only in draft form, they may or may not survive the final cut, which is at least a year away. (I cut out 40% of what I wrote in LISBON STREET...

2000 Gruaud is a very nice wine.
It gets mixed reviews on cellartracker because the 2000 was produced during that two-decade window in which Parker was down on the estate.

Yes, exercise doesn't directly help me to lose weight. But I generally feel a lot better, my blood pressure and stress levels seem to be in a better place, when I'm exercising more. I like to walk briskly 3-6 miles per day, which I'm usually able to do during the summer months. And holistically that...

I got a bunch more "free" Giscours, I have like two cases of it now.
Gerry, it sounds like 2015 Canon is in dwindling stock, I got mixed reports, one saying that item #21477 was the 2011 and another that it was the 2015.

I think you are right, Jacques, I'm pretty sure it was the Brane Cantenac, and we did indeed hate it, I don't recall having Cantenac Brown.
I do recall enjoying the 2005 Brane Cantenac though. Or maybe it was the '10.

I hear what you’re saying, Marcus, but I think it depends on what your definition of “wow” is. If “wow” is big, rich, Parkerized, fruit-bomb, being “wowed” may be what a lot of people are looking for. If it means elegance and balance, this may be close to a wow. I found this wine 1985-like, which ai...

This is a nice young wine, it has a bit of a leafiness to it. The tannins are present but silky, nothing like those two Pessacs I had last week. The color is splendid Margaux purple. Oak still fairly present. it is light on its feet. A real beauty, but not a "wow" like Giscours and Siran. ...

I don't know squat about white Burgundy but it seems to me that this property is poor, based on the few times I've had it.
So 2014 is a great year in white Burgundy?
How are 15 and 16?

I have one bottle of Leoville Barton.
I'm going to be getting my hands on some Cantenac Brown this week.

What is the tannin index for 2015?
Tried the 2015 Carbonnieux.
Not much of a step up above the Latour Martillac.
Is 2015 overrated?
These wines seem tannic, angular, sharp.
Okay, Margaux seems great.
But there are other parts of Bordeaux, too.
And the prices prohibit drinking the big boys ITNOS.

It's too bad that Denver, like Boston and other great US towns, doesn't legally allow BYOB in its establishments, which has always been the first prerequisite of BWE convention locations.
