Ok Mom, I'll follow whatever advice you give me.
I can only dream of enjoying life some day as much as you.

As I said previously, I'm glad you like it!
Myself, i thought the 2005 was swill, but it sounds like the 2000 is better.

Re: 2003 Lafon Rochet uncorked and other ramblings....

The federal prosecutors have you by the balls because of federal sentencing guidelines. If you don't "accept responsibility" you get punished more. As for 2003 Lafon Rochet drinking window, Arv, you are asking the wrong guy. In my mind this wine is drinking beautifully right now, at the 15...

Re: 2003 Lafon Rochet uncorked and other ramblings....

Anyway, the rest of the meeting went reasonably well, after I had to tame down these federal lunatics. The point I'm trying to make is that I have this girl who I know is completely innocent, and yet we have 6 FBI agents and a federal prosecutor who have completely made up their minds otherwise. And...

Re: 2003 Lafon Rochet uncorked and other ramblings....

A lot of times, when we are talking about quality Bordeaux, we are talking in the negative: It is NOT overly alcoholic. It is NOT over-extracted. It is NOT Parkerized. Here, the 2003 Lafon Rochet is NOT flabby. It is not raisiny. It's NOT volatile. This wine is a beauty! Lead-pencil, cedar, balance,...

You recall incorrectly Danny.
The era for Lynch was the 1980s.
It has been overpriced since 2000.
The Baron has been better since the 2000 vintage.
I don't recall Lynch ever losing to the Baron at a BWE event.

Alfred Tesseron loved his 2013. 2013 is a function of price. If you drank the 2013 La Lagune with a steak and paid $25 for it you would think it was a tasty wine. If you paid the $50 they've been asking for it you would say it is swill. The only 2013 I recall us drinking was La Lagune on our 2015 tr...
