Re: Some flashbacks to my Bordeaux trip last month...
This young woman is Josephine Duffau-Lagarrosse, who took over Beausejour Duffau Lagarrosse in June this year. She's a granddaughter of the previous owner, doctor Duffau-Lagarrosse. She's a serious backing of a huge cosmetic company, Clarins. So now, Clarins are neighbours to Chanel (Canon).
Alex and I had an excellent visit, certainly one of the highlights of my trip, and it was refreshing to hear about her ambition to push the property even higher quality-wise. Beausejour D-L is already a fabulous wine and has made a true hattrick of vintages 2020, 2019 and 2018. She did change a blend of 2020 in barrel, initially created by Nicolas Thienpont and David Suire, and I can tell you it's an absolute beauty bursting of stunning complexity, elegance and finesse, 98+p. Maybe this wine can touch a magic score of 100p after bottling?!
2018 is heavier and more concentrated with fabulous precision and depth. 98+p. 2019 tasted a tad lighter than 2018 and 2020, precisely from the bottle as from barrel, with striking complexity and sophisticated touch, luxurious and lingering finish. 97-98p.
For sure, these wines were among the very best ones I've had during my November trip!!

This thread is potentially sexist and objectifying.
Could you please post more pictures so that I made study the issue and conclude my analysis?

The first picture is Olivier Techer, winemaker at Gombaude Guillot, an under radar property in Pomerol, which represents great value for money.
The next two pictures are about one of BWW 's favourite wines.

How was the 2013 Corbin, GBF?
How is the '18 in bottle?
I loaded up on the 15 and 16.

it is a great tribute to her wine making skills that I looked more closely at the bottles than at Josephine Duffau-Lagarrosse.

I don’t know about you (sexist pigs), but this place’s wine tastes terrible.
