Well done, Howard. Two of my favorites. Although I don't drink much port anymore. Smith Woodhouse always seems to hit.
6x2014 VCC for me. Couldn't help myself. Pre-buying freeze

Might want to see if you can find 2019 Palmer. Not quite at its $225 opening price, it seems to be available at around $270, not a price you are likely to see again for a great vintage of Palmer.
Well done.
These are such great wines, kinda unsung. Tom in DC first introduced me to these 4-5 years ahi. How much they running these days?jckba wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:49 pm I placed this order with my Polaner rep last Thursday for a mixed case of the current 2020 Gerard Boulay single vineyard Sancerres in the Clos de Beaujeu (4), Les Monts Damnes (4) and La Cote (4) but they arrived today. And for those of you wondering, the Comtesse is released at a later date.
Score! It’s a good thing I can’t get these in the low $40s or my buying freeze would experience an abrupt and unceremonious end.
I feel like that there is a lot of that happening with 'Segla'.Racer Chris wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 12:51 pm Reminds me of the time I bought a bottle of 2012 (Rauzan) Segla for $48 bucks.
Mea culpa, mea culpa. I have failed.
