2019 progress report.

Post by JimHow »

So who has received their 2019s, and what have you received?
Anxiously awaiting Agent Gerry's report on the New Hampshire inventory.
Probably later in the fall, I'm guessing.

Hi Jim. Did not received anything yet, but probably the vintage i bought the most bottle en primeur.

Was at my local wine store few minutes ago, and saw the second wine of Chateau Beychevelle in two vintages : 2018 (14.5 abv) and 2019 (13.5 abv).

Guess i will prefer the 2019 vintage.

That's a little good news on the Friday evening Nicola as I fight off the symptoms from my fourth Pfizer shot. That shot hit me pretty hard three of the four times I've taken it.

Sociando is in the house. Shipped from Allendale Wine Shoppe.

MacArthur's has some of my stuff in but I don't recall which ones. Waiting for the rest of it to come in to make a trip to pick it up.

I am sitting back and waiting for reports from my man in the Merrimack Valley.
I've already got some La Conseillante, Tour St. Christophe, Montrose, Rauzan Segla, awaiting arrival.
I want a little 2019 Leoville Barton, Lynch Bages, Calon Segur, Giscours, etc., etc., the usual suspects.

I've not seen any 19's in NH yet. They have a pretty severe issue with staffing now and shelves are pretty sparsely stocked. I'll keep looking

Received everything already I think...VCC, DDC, Troplong, Calon, Alter Ego, Rauzan Segla, Lafite, Montrose, Brane Cantenac, Cantenac Brown, and Clerc Milon. Deliveries in Europe must be so much quicker then elsewhere.

I’m still waiting for my EP purchases but I’m doing another tasting on Thursday of 12 wines so I’ll provide some notes then.
Cheers
