Few wines from the last days

Post by Nicklasss »

Quick comments.

2020 François Mikulski Bourgogne Aligoté: very nice. I can smell and taste lot of bâtonnage and lies on that wine, as richer than normal for Aligoté. Nice white flesh fruit nose, riche fruit, light butter, fat in mouth, but with a light vegetal edge to balance. Tn: 89.

2015 Château Malescasse: nice, dark, blackberries, rich, structured, blackcurrants, minerals, warm black cherries, dry leather. Excellent. Tn: 90-91.

2017 Damilano Barolo Le Cinquevigne: believe it or not, I’m starting to like a lot those ripe 2017 Piedmont wines. This one is light body, flowery, dilute blackcurrants, coal, spices, wild red cherries. Medium acidity, lightly harsh tannins, long. Tn: 91.

2019 Laurent Martray Côtes de Brouilly Feuillées: light Gamay wine, well made. Red currants, red berries, bitter cherries, light minerals. Not very long, good qu’afférent. Tn: 87. More pleasure and drink ability than greatness.
