Gail and I were feeling some non-buyer's remorse for missing what sounds like a most excellent convention two weekends ago. So...

We tossed out a few emails to the locals and, lo and behold, a quorum of the DC chapter -- DavidG and Peg, mr and mrs vino, Winona Chief and Marjorie, and the "in DC's" -- will be gathering at our place on Saturday, May 22nd. Lots of details to work out, but any BWE'ers who might find themselves in the area that day are welcome. We'll probably drink some decent wine...

What a coincidence. I will be at U Maryland May 20-22 and was just about to contact you and the other DC BWEers to see about an offline. So I am in. Thanks for the announcement.

Lucie decided to come with me because spending Saturday night with all our DC are friends at Chez G&T was too good to pass up.

It's great to hear that you'll be with us, Lucie! So it looks like we have 10 for dinner. Anyone else interested -- Jimbo? -- speak now or...

Gail wants a blind tasting, so we'll probably stand up a couple-few bottles for that -- can Gail identify "the best wine of her life" blind? -- otherwise, attendee couples can bring a white, a red, or one of each -- something that you think will be fun/interesting/or???

How about my favorite theme "something good from Bordeaux" plus some Champagne and a few whites and of course some dessert wine?
