Opened this to go with baked salmon...

• 2002 Siduri Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Rita Hills - Sta. Rita Hills (2/8/2009)
  Dark red to rim. Something is wrong with this bottle. Nose is flat/absent. Palate is all acid and tannin, no fruit. No detectable TCA or brett. Not cooked. Maybe oxidized? Back to the cellar for another bottle... NR (flawed)

  Dark red to rim. Starts very closed, like last bottle, but after an hour the fruit comes out. Nose never develops any serious "sfuff" but there's some cherry there and a bit of earthiness. Light bodied, lightest Siduri I've ever had, and tired. Two bad bottles in a row? Or just totally shut down. No apparent flaws - no TCA, brett, etc. Average at best.
