- 2000 Château Angélus - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru (7/31/2010)
Deep garnet. nose of deep spice, black fruits and winter spices. Taste was rich, mouthfilling toast, black fruits, smooth but there are tannins still there. It'll have a great life in another few years of aging. (96 pts.) - 2000 Château La Fleur-Pétrus - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol (7/31/2010)
corked. 2 so far. What's up with this? NR (flawed) - 2000 Château La Fleur-Pétrus - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol (7/28/2010)

Re: TN: some 2000 Bordeaux
Two bad bottles of that wine really sucks! At least the Angelus lived up to its reputation. I think I need to start tasting a few of my lesser 2000 Bordeaux wines.

I would say like John, 2 corked bottles of the same wine in a row, sucks.
It happened to me once, in the same dinner, and I was so mad I never bought the wine again. It was 1997 Chateau Donas Baissa (Côtes-du-Roussiloon Villages).
