I used to love Alex's Friday Pop Quiz.
In an effort to bring him out of retirement I'm posting an unannouced quiz.

What is the oldest vine in the world?

The problem is, I did not have a clue as to the answer, so I typed in "oldest vine in the world" on Google.

The spirit of a quiz is to test people's knowledge. But in the Internet age, it becomes very difficult to ask questions that Mr. Google doesn't know!
Also, after several years, I had sort of "done the rounds", and the only way of continuing was to ask extremely esorteric questions that were less fun and/or that people had little liklihood of knowing or finding out...

Another idea is to post photos of people, châteaux, etc. and ask people to identify them.
I'd like to do that, but I'd need to be *much* better organized.
