I like 2006 red Burgundies. I have tasted the 2006 Domaine Bouchard, Beaune Greves "L'Enfant Jesus" a couple times and really liked it - where did you see it.

Not real familar with 2008 red Burgundy.

Sherry-Lehman, Chris, just type in "Bouchard" in their "Advanced Search" function. The WA gives 94 points to the 2008 and the note seems very enthusiastic.

It always amazes me how different peoples tastes are different. We were at a Bouchard tasting within the last 6 months with the 2006 l'Enfant Jesus being tasted. I was truly underwhelmed for the price. Not a bad wine by any means but everyone at our table looked at one another after Bouchard described the the wine and we certainly experienced something well shy of expectation. Wasn't a bad bottle as there were multiple in the room and I tried two. Both uninspiring.

2008 is supposed to be great and I would go there rather than 2006. I feel the Corton should be great

That's 2x what I paid for the 2006 l'Enfant Jesus. Would not bite. If you got 20 yrs the cortons are not bad but I am serious about the time.

Thanks for the input, I'll probably buy a couple bottles of the 2008 and 2006 Corton and l'Enfant Jesus to go along with my Fevre/Niellon/Dauvissat white Burgundy order....
