About to be exhibited in London are 20 fine art photography portraits of the greatest Bordeaux winemakers, from Olivier Berrouet at Petrus to Charles Chevallier at Lafite. There's one mistake however - it's still Jacques Guinaudeau (Baptiste's father), who is the main winemaker. Baptiste and Julie contribute with ideas. But in 7-8 years I believe Baptiste and Julie will take over from Jacques.

Some great photos, but I think there are more than 20 great winemakers in Bordeaux and having Angelus, Rausan-Segla & Leoville-Poyferre in there is contentious when VCC, La Conseillante, etc are left out. If you aren't a fan of HWSRN then you could in the last 12 years rile against Cos and Ducru...

Always begs the question. What makes a great winemaker. A good winemaker can make great wine with those terroirs if we are completely honest... But I suppose they have to have some criteria. And where do you start??

Still I dont want to seem like Scrooge but it is a good bit of fun!!
