Another astounding success for this Bordeaux lookalike in arguably the best vintage of the decade for Napa Cabernet. Deep ruby color. Not much aroma, although what there is has elements of violet flowers. Terrific depth on the palate; size without weight. Very elegant. Fans out to fill the mouth with an almost sweet impression. Velvety texture, meltingly tannic and finishes triumphantly with welcome acidity and focus. Chateau Margaux doppelgänger to the '92 Dunn HM version of LMHB. (93 pts.)

Don't worry, I still drink Bordeaux regularly, I just don't buy any more, having several lifetimes of mature bottles tucked away.
