rich, round, plummy, some spice and tobacco, nice freshness, and a touch of volatile acidity, some nice length, earth, wood, cedar, leaves, rotten raspberry. Really interesting, and a really lovely wine, but somehow it just doesn't excite... Nice but, I wouldn't buy a case, despite it having a very different style and character to Portuguese examples of the same grapes. 53/100
