yeast, nuts, slate, oyster shell, lemons, limes, smoked apple, a strong sur lie character, with poise, decent depth and freshness, it seems simple to begin with, and then this depth and structure appears from nowhere and the finish is long and with complexity, clay, sand, sea air, Calais beach (wrong city I know
). Grass, herbs, and a salty fish note. Really nice and with plenty of space to improve. 67++/100 Jono Beagle's hundred point scoring system.
