I will be in the Loire Valley for a few days this summer.
Can anyone suggest any wineries that would be worth a visit?

I happen to love the dessert wines from Baumard (Quarts de Chaume, Clos de Ste Catherine), but I haven't found any information about whether they are open to visitors.

Any help or information would be appreciated.

Do you know where in Loire Valley you will be? It's a wide expansive region and, for example, the western part (Muscadet) can be a 3-hour+ drive to the eastern part (Sancerre).

Looks like Baumard is open daily except Sundays and holidays... Contact Info
