I've never trusted certain individuals with the NHSLC and here is just one more case of vanishing wine except on a grander scale. The lack of a serious investigation is not surprising to me.

That was the first thing that came to mind. Why take a case when you can steal the whole load? A few people will lose their jobs over this one. I know for a fact that they have video surveilence on their storage areas and whenever you open the loading dock door a manager is required to observe.

This is really strange, especially the lack of details in the story. Sounds like they got a bunch of vino VIA gray market or otherwise, and quietly flipped it. Unfortunately, someone saw a little something. Gettin' bold, I'd say...
