The 2009 Sociando Mallet is on its way.

Supposedly it's painfully tannic and backward. One can hope.

I'm interested in this one as well, it is on sale in NH.
"Only" 90 points from He Who Shall Remain Nameless, though, a low score for the vintage?

Better get a sling for your jaw, Hound. But at 90 pts, is it a nice price? I can't imagine the wine is less than great in this vintage, but you never know. Sometimes even the best of 'em drop the ball.

I think this will be one of the next wines I'll try in ITNOS.
Don't know how we'd do a VLT between Maine and Hawaii though!

I'm still in Colorado. Be here just a while longer yet. Kathy's heading over for good on Friday though. And what's wrong with this picture? All my wine is in storage. Meanwhile on the island we've cached four cases of fine aged wine, a red 2006 Mercedes Benz CLK 350 convertible (low miles - hers) and a 1998 Toyota 4Runner (my surf wagon). Please someone call me when surf's up.

Anyway we can do a VLT weekend after this coming.
