Wake me on Monday morning....
The courts are closed.
Last minute paperwork has been completed.
And now I am going to eat, drink fine wine, watch football, and SLEEP! for the next four days.
I have a couple bottles of 2003 Dom Perignon for the family gathering tomorrow, I'm in charge of bringing the wine, I haven't decided yet what else I'm going to pull out of the cellar but I'm sure I'll think of something!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

After the 03 Dom (which I really like) I suggest a solid left bank Bordeaux, ideally with some smoky or cedary overtones.
Hmmm.. Maybe LLC, Ducru, Pontet Canet or Cos.

2000 Togni I think with the Tenderloin though a Bordeaux could sneak in there.

2006 Marcassin Three Sisters with the bird was magnificent. Took the sting out of watching the Lions snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Happy Thanksgiving.
We're having ours tomorrow due to what the airlines might call "weather-related problems" per another thread, i.e. the unavailability of a certain person today. But I'm making an onolicious turkey and having some friends who are also visiting the island over for dinner then. Should be fun dining on my Salvation Army find out on the lanai.

Togni was merely ok but the Redskins were wonderful-nothing makes me happier than beating Dallas in Dallas.
