The negociant/producer in Bourgogne don't have all the same pedigree. But they have access to good ressources to produce Bourgogne.
Tonight, that wine is not very expensive, and have all the characteristic of good to excellent red village Bourgogne. A medium red color. A nose distinguished of spices, red berries, cherries, vanilla and ripe cranberries. In mouth, medium power, mainly in red cherries flavors, light cinnamon, medium oak, good mouthfeel, good acids, light tannins, decent long finish on kirsch with herbs. Very very good, convenient, satisfying for 35$, a price we see less and less for village Bourgogne. Well made, in the spirit of Beaune. TN: 88-89.

It seems not only the property wines, but also the négociant stuff is worthy to look for.. Nice.
