TN 01 Dominique

01 Dominique (in Dubai, spring of 2009) – medium red with lots of brown tints (almost a bit aged? or maybe too much heat sometime?) and very light fine cloudiness. Strong scents of red fruits and alcohol, touch of brett. On opening soft, smooth round but light bodied, soft tannic finish, soft acid, blood, beef, touches of smoke, light bacon fat. An hour later gained weight and much more concentrated fruit, predominantly sweet cherry with raspberry while maintaining the earlier flavors plus hints of potential future complexity. 89
