TN: Cantemerle 1989 Haut Medoc

Color dark garnet red, orange rim, but still massive, dark core. Smell acacia flowers, vanille, honey.Taste of very ripe Merlot. Notes of chocolate and honey. The fruit is barely recogniseable, some cassis. Strong body, you almost do not believe the 12,5% alcohol.
A bit short, though.If there were some noticable acid I would be tempted to think of an Italian wine. Very hedonistic wine. If you like the style I will probably rate it better than my: 89 Points
