Didn't take a note but it's everything you'd expect - pretty damn good, unforced fine wine. Playing the vintage sensibly so it's not over done in any way. Serious tannins. Pretty marked oak at this stage - but high quality oak - but that will settle, I'm sure. Classy wine that is St Julien in style whereas the very good 04 was nodding towards Margaux.

A Belgian wine writer once described the best wines of Moulis as "des Margaux de l'intérieur".

I hope you have other bottles to age!

Did you vent (decant) your Spleen before comsuming it?
