Well, the best retail price according to Winesearcher is $175 at a Chicago location. So I'd say it is a pretty good price. And it certainly got rated highly by critics.

Jim -

I paid $200 recently as I am very curious where one of my once-favorite estates has gone. Will make for an interesting comparative tasting some time down the path with 2014, 2010 and 2005. I may grab 2016 for the same thing. I only bought one.

Stefan, are you limiting your search rather than searching all stages in the US? Maybe my Pro is just more Pro than yours. :)

I think that’s a buy. I saw this upon arrival at my local TW at $169.97/btl back on May 1st, 2018 and asked for a case but they couldn’t fill my order in full as someone had already snapped up 4 btls, so I purchased the remaining 8 btls and received a 10% off ‘sorry please shop with us again’ discount bringing my cost down to $153/btl + tax. And when it came back into stock several weeks later, it was listed at $199.97/btl.

And Stefan, check your Wine-Searcher filters.

I think that price is as good as it can get. I think I paid around 145 or 150 around the release. Like others have chimed in, that price is closer to release price compared to the other prices listed elsewhere...Having said that, I think 2011 Figeac is excellent, if you can find for a reasonable price...better than 2012, even though 2012 is better than 2011 in terms of overall vintage for the right bank. (P.S. I have tasted 2011 and 2012, but not 2015. FWIW, it has been Rollandized since 2012 vintage?)

Hmm. Must have been a glitch. I was searching USA bottles and also all bottle sizes. Now the $175 price does appear.

I have my eyes on a case of 2016 Siran at $31+.
And possibly a case of 2016 La Tour Carnet at $32+.

Jim,

I just got back from NH and picked up a mixed case. Unfortunately, the closes t store that has the 2015 Ch Figeac is store #69 on the North side of Nashua, Their Bordeaux selection is rather limited compared to Store #50 where I normally shop. The good news is that the code use for the Figeac was #31949 which produced a normal price of $186.99 for a net of $158.94, even cheaper than I thought! lol. I'll post my case on the purchase thread.

Very well done indeed, Gerry.
I just got one bottle at $162.34 in Portsmouth, along with 14 other bottles.

I love the Figeac label font. It just pops. Feels modern, but it's a classic at the same time.

It’s something about this label. It feels haunting, in a good way... I also love the label and the colors...

There might others which are even boring, but for me, the current labels of Troplong and Latour Martillac are blah...
