RIP Lulu Peyraud

Post by RPCV »

Passing of an icon. Tempier wines will always have a place in my cellar as they set the benchmark for reds and roses in the Bandol region. She championed southern French cuisine, Bandol tradition and was a delightful and wonderful person. The red Bandol wines from Tempier are my go-to pours with lamb dishes. It is good to know that her sons will continue in her footsteps. RIP

Domaine Tempier was one on my first cellar wines. Unfortunately i drank them early. Also they produced the only Rose that I enjoyed. RIP Lulu.

Sad to hear but glad that the domaine is staying within the family.
