    I have quite a few so I decided to open one.....tight ...dark dark magenta purple.nice nose of spice/floral......tannic with underlying fruit

Still a baby, but sounds like it shows a lot of promise.

I like the 03 better too

A freind brought a 95 Pontet over last night...............this was open and ready to drink...better than the 04

We had the 2000 Lynch Bages for dinner........the initial nose was was very smokey...this blew off and the fruit and integrated tannins were excellent...........he has 2 cases of the 00 and I have one - we are both pleased
The last 00 he brought was corked so we were happy that it was an isolated btl

I liked the 2004 Pontet Canet as well, Richard, but I think the 2003 is going to evolve into a legend.
