Who knows this wine site?

I was wondering if some of you have any experience with a multi-disciplinary wine site called Snooth.com?
I never heard of it before but apparently it seems to be quite popular in the US?

Alain, it appears to be a wine"finding" site but I've never had luck with it and I haven't read too many (if any) positive reports about it.

I have heard that they use A.I. in slightly creepy ways.

If you search for Australian Grenache, a few days later you will start getting email ads for Australian Grenache.

I personally plan to give it a wide berth. Like gmail.com...

No problems as far as I'm concerned. I think Greg dal Piaz is one of the principals, and I've shared more than a few Italian wines with him.

A.I. doesn't bother me, and I'm sure there's an opt-out option when you start getting emails that are related to things in which you've expressed interest...

Gmail, on the other hand, is only scary if you somehow think your email provider isn't archiving every message in or out as preparation for the coming government subpoenas...
