If he's looking BYOB downtown core and also very good top three fine dining are Beckta, Eighteen, Courtyard and Riviera. Whalesbone great seafood and steak but not BYOB. Pizza with outdoor patio in the market...The Grand. Let me know if there is something specific that he's looking for. Downtown Ottawa will be crazy busy this weekend with first Canada Celebration in three years. Place should be hopping.
